FAQ

  • What are session like?

We will work together to identify your goals. From there, talk about how you learn whether that is through worksheets, books, videos, talking, etc. I will ask at the beginning of session for an update since we last talked and we may branch off from there or we can talk about whatever is on your mind. The session is your space.

  • How long do I need to be in Therapy?

Typical length of treatment is 3-12 months. But treatment is based off of your needs. If we can work through what you need in 2 months, awesome, but if it is longer than 12 months, that is okay too. We will talk about what it would look like for you to be ready for discharge. Even if we discharge, we can start back up anytime if needed.

  • How do I get started?

Click the button below to schedule a free 15-minute consultation or schedule a mental health assessment. Or you can text me at 330-756-7695 with any questions or to get scheduled.

  • How often would we meet?

This is based off of your problem areas, needs, schedule, etc. Typically, I start out once a week, then as you are meeting your goals we can decrease to every other week/monthly. BUT- even though we may decrease our sessions that does not mean we can’t increase if we need too.

  • Do you have an office?

Currently, I do not. I am seeing clients only virtually through a secure platform. This allows you to be anywhere in Ohio that has an internet connection and still be able to attend session. It gives you the flexibility to not have to take time out to drive to session and schedule during lunches (if appropriate). Processing trauma at work probably is not a good idea.

  • Do you take insurance?

I do. I am currently in network with Aetna, Anthem BCBS, United Healthcare, Optum, Oxford, Cigna, Medical Mutual and Caresource. I offer sliding scale fees as well.
