Caring support when you need it the most
Meet Shannon!
Hi, I’m Shannon!
I’m a Licensed Social Worker (LSW) — but more than that, I’m a real person who knows how unpredictable and messy life can get. I became a therapist because I’ve been there too — through pain, conflict, parenthood, and all the ups and downs that come with being human. I know how hard it can be to reach out for help, and I want you to know you don’t have to go through it alone.
Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of working with kids (6 and up), teens, adults, couples, and families in all kinds of settings. My background includes ABA therapy (Applied Behavior Analysis), which focuses on helping children build new skills and positive behaviors in supportive, practical ways. I’ve also worked in case management, substance use counseling, group therapy, and education, connecting with people from many different walks of life.
One of the most meaningful experiences in my career was working with NAMI Hawaii (National Alliance on Mental Illness) — an organization dedicated to supporting individuals and families affected by mental health challenges. That time deepened my belief in the power of community, connection, and the importance of breaking down the stigma around mental health.
When we meet, my goal is for you to feel safe, supported, and truly understood. We’ll go at your pace — talking through what’s been weighing on you, setting goals that feel realistic, and finding tools that actually fit your life. Whether you’re dealing with grief, trauma, anxiety, depression, or just trying to feel like yourself again, we’ll work together to help you heal, grow, and find your balance.
Therapy doesn’t have to be scary — it can be a space to pause, reflect, and start feeling a little lighter again.
